About
Dr. De Kock was born and raised in Strand, Western Cape. He obtained his medical degree from
Stellenbosch University, completing the six-year program in 2008. He subsequently gained valuable
clinical experience working in both the Eastern Cape and Northern Cape.
Pursuing his passion for surgical excellence, Dr. De Kock specialized in General Surgery at the
University of the Free State, qualifying in 2017. In 2018, he was appointed Head of Breast and
Endocrine Surgery at Universitas Academic Hospital, where he dedicated himself to developing and
advancing the Unit—a project he holds in high regard.
Fully committed to patient care, Dr. De Kock specializes in General Surgery, with a particular focus
on Breast and Thyroid Surgery. He strives to provide a comprehensive service encompassing screening,
surgical intervention, breast- conserving procedures, and advanced oncoplastic techniques.
